Valerie Wildman is an award-winning actress known for her roles in Days of Our Lives, Beverly Hills, 90210, NCIS, and Oliver Stone’s Salvador. Beyond her work in film and television, Valerie is a dedicated humanitarian and founder of AngelsAmongUs.TV, highlighting everyday heroes in underserved communities.

She has worked as a Peace Corps and international relief volunteer and continues her role as a counselor, advocate, and producer through WildSpirit Productions. Valerie holds a master’s degree in counseling, is fluent in Spanish, and is pursuing a doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a focus on expressive arts.

She was married to the late artist and architect Robert Gilbert, whose vision helped bring Maraluz to life. Today, she continues to honor Robert’s legacy and share in the stewardship of this remarkable retreat with James “Kip” Hale, a close friend of both Valerie and Robert and the main owner of Maraluz. Kip now guides the ongoing vision for Maraluz, maintaining its natural beauty while welcoming those seeking peace, inspiration, and ecological harmony.
